This session presents a practical, end-to-end playbook for improving inventory accuracy, flow, and predictability in manufacturing environments. Attendees will learn why inventory has become a board-level topic, where manufacturers commonly lose control, and which execution control points matter most across planning, purchasing, production, warehousing, and counting. FSMA 204 Readiness: Why Waiting is the Biggest Risk

STEVE DOMBROSKI - QAD, Inc.

FSMA 204 represents a fundamental shift in how traceability, documentation, and corrective action must work together across operations. And the companies that wait will discover too late that compliance can’t be rushed. This session breaks down what FSMA 204 actually requires, in plain language, and why the recent deadline extension doesn’t reduce risk. We’ll explore why spreadsheets, siloed systems, and after-the-fact reporting are the most common reasons companies struggle with traceability audits. More importantly, we’ll show how treating FSMA 204 as an operational discipline, not a regulatory checkbox, changes the outcome entirely.
You’ll learn how modern ERP, AI-driven insights, and quality management must work together to enable true readiness. QAD Adaptive ERP, Champion AI, and EQMS provide the foundation for rapid traceability, consistent documentation, and proactive corrective action, long before an FDA request arrives.
